This 1997 Line-up at Luton Hoo would still be a block buster today

Whilst searching the web to see if our future headliners Faithless had been to our splendid town of Luton before, we started to uncover not only that they had, but also a whole list of other incredible acts had once performed here too!

Way back in the late 90’s a festival popped up called Tribal Gathering, held on the grounds at Luton Hoo Estate in the summer, between 25,000 – 35,000 ravers would descend on the event who bought in acts such as (Wait for it):….

Whilst it’s unlikely an event of this magnitude will happen in that location again, we can still be excited to bring in one act off the epic list this Easter, as we celebrate 5 Years Of Taste The Punch on Good Friday at Carnival Arts, Luton.

If you were one of the lucky ones and managed attend Tribal Gathering feel free to let us know all about on twitter

Taste The Punch joins Tantra for Ibiza Closing Party with DJ Sneak, Doorly, Jesse Perez and DJ Oliver.

Thursday 12 October
‘Last Show Of The Summer’

Tantra will throw ‘The Last Show Of The Summer’ on Thursday 12th October donating proceeds to the Caritas charity organisation. Opening up the outdoor space next to the venue, the outdoor event which is powered by Taste The Punch will be split into two parts; the daytime celebrations and a night time party with DJ Sneak, Doorly, Jesse Perez and DJ Oliver.

During the daytime, Tantra will be serving up their famous BBQ from 14:00 to celebrate another successful summer with the workers and residents of the area. A selection of barbecued meats and vegetarian options will be offered up throughout the afternoon.
From 19:00, the afternoon celebrations will turn into the night time party with a huge stage and production built for a five-hour outdoor session until midnight when the party will move inside for the after hours.

British brand Taste The Punch will bring their debut Ibiza season to a close on 12th October at one of the island’s best venues. Tantra has hosted two Taste The Punch pre parties this season with Faithless and DJ Sneak both performing. This year TTP have welcomed the likes of Mark Knight, Marshall Jefferson, Felix Da Housecat and Laidback Luke to Eden and will be ending the year in style by powering the famous Tantra Closing Party.

Headlining Tantra’s ‘Last Show Of The Summer’ is legendary ‘house gangsta’ DJ Sneak along with top producer and DJ, Doorly, hotly tipped newcomer Jesse Perez, legendary islander DJ Oliver and Tantra residents Frank Mendez, Zuer and Davide Alfieri.

A special outdoor light projection show will be created by Bamboo. The industry expert has been transforming international stages into multi-dimensional worlds since the 1980s. Developing his distinctive style on the island of Ibiza, he has become a global trendsetter in the domain of visual projection.

If you can’t be on the island to celebrate the night time charity event then you can watch the action unfold live through the Tantra Facebook page from 19:00. The event will also be broadcasted on Ibiza White FM 103.7 which can be listened to globally from the Ibiza White FM app. The app can be downloaded for free from the Apple and Google Play stores or you can tune in at www.tantraibiza.com.

A larger network of radio stations around the world will be broadcasting the island event, sharing the love from the last moments of summer in Ibiza.

Jackmaster, Hauswerks and Toyboy & Robin Confirmed for Taste The Punch, Luton

When a heavyweight like Jackmaster says he can come to town, there was no doubt this would be the perfect home coming party for Taste The Punch.
It always feels good to be home, and we’re back in Luton Town after a very sunny, 4 month stint on the white isle, ready to set the town alight with full on Ibizan party spirit!

Taste The Punch return to Carnival Arts, Fri 3rd November for an 8hr musical marathon which will see Jackmaster take the headline slot. DC10, CircoLoco & Paradise crew will know all about our guest of honour as Jackmaster needs little introduction.
Currently sitting at no.2 in Resident Advisor’s Top100 DJ’s poll, here’s what RA had to say about him.

“Jack Revill is a man with little time for bullshit. He comes from a place where there’s no room for big egos, and his DJing embodies this spirit. He’s the kind of guy who’ll smash club classics with Armand Van Helden, play Stirling on a Wednesday night, mix records with zero pretention and maximum energy, and take down your number for directions to the afterparty.” – Resident Advisor, December 2015
