Check Out Prok And Fitch’s Remix ‘La La Land’

Brighton’s Prok & Fitch are confirmed to play for us at Eden Ibiza this 4th August alongside the likes of Faithless (Dj Set), Mark Knight & Too Tall.

Prok & Fitch’s have become household names in the House and tech scene with numerous releases from themselves ranking at the top of global dance charts.

Their recent remix of Green Velvet’s “La La Land” has picked up some amazing support as of late from the likes of Fatboy Slim & Carl Cox both featuring it in their sets at the Kappa Futur Festival in Italy.

Dancing Astronaut recently premiered Prok & Fitch’s track “La La Land”, here’s what they had to say:

“Despite an increasingly busy tour schedule, Prok & Fitch have maintained a number of releases just as heavy. Their latest output comes in the form of a re-work to Green Velvet’s classic cut, “La La Land.” They took on this iconic piece in stride, maintaining its standout vocal clips and generally eccentric aesthetic while injecting it with an even groovier, scintillating house foundation.”

Prok & Fitch is available on Beatport now.

Felix Da Housecat Launches New Label ‘Founders Of Filth’

Chicago House producer and DJ is set to headline for us at Eden Ibiza this June 16th, alongside with George Kwali, Icarus, Lee Walker, Mambo Brothers, Paul Malcom and Too Tall.

Felix has recently launched a new label called ‘Founders Of Filth’, Mixmag showcased the initial launch tracks and here’s what they had to say:

“The inaugural release on the imprint is comprised of three original productions, showcasing Felix’s talents as an experienced, Grammy nominated producer with over three decades in the industry.

Of the three tracks found on ‘Founders Of Filth Volume One’, one is a solo production while the other two feature noteworthy talent. Legendary vocalist Jamie Principle, who broke through on collaborations with Frankie Knuckles.

Felix revealed why he chose to start the new label and what people can expect from its output: “An imprint where no rules apply. You can be as creative as you want to be, as a community. I just got so tired of fighting labels and for my people to shine, it went on deaf ears”.

‘Founders Of Filth Volume One’ is set to release on 9th June.
